About Bill Deggs, MA, LPC-S
I myself struggled with Anxiety and Depression as a young person. I often like to joke that I took my first psychology class as a DIY project. As I discovered what worked for me, I realized that I wanted to share that knowledge with other people.
Why did I get into the counseling field?

What should you expect?
What's my approach to therapy?
Sitting with me in therapy is meant to feel safe, supportive, and even a little creative. I meet clients exactly where they are, without judgment or pressure to have the “right” words. With children and teens, I often use play, creativity, and humor to help them express themselves in ways that feel natural and engaging. With adults, I balance deep listening with practical strategies so sessions provide both understanding and useful tools to take into daily life.
My approach is strengths-based, which means I focus on what’s already working and build from there. Clients often share that therapy with me feels encouraging, collaborative, and tailored to their needs. I believe growth can come from a mix of meaningful conversations, creative interventions, and moments of lightness along the way. I like using analogies, games, and hands-on approaches because therapy doesn’t have to be heavy all the time to be meaningful. My focus includes helping clients with ADHD, Anxiety, Depression, Adjustments to Life transitions, Adolescents (10+), and Adults who value a warm, practical, and supportive space to work on stress, anxiety, or self-esteem.

Cognitive Behavior Therapy

Its practical and evidence-based approach has made it one of the most widely used therapeutic modalities for a range of psychological concerns.
Creative Art & Play Therapy
Creative arts and play therapy use creative activities to help individuals express themselves. It provides a safe, non-verbal way for clients to communicate thoughts and feelings that may be difficult to express verbally, using tools like art, drama, music, and structured play.

My son enjoyed his time with Bill Deggs very much. I appreciated Bill's willingness to meet my son where he was, even playing silly games, answering crazy questions and taking him outside to get some big movements in.
I would absolutely recommend Fyt Clinic to anyone seeking help for their child!
